DENFOIL ISO 7010 Safety Signs reproduce the registered pictograms verbatim, in the geometry and safety colours fixed by ISO 3864-1. Signs are produced on self-adhesive vinyl, rigid plastic or aluminium, with photoluminescent variants measured to DIN 67510-1. Way guidance is assessed to ISO 16069 at system level.

No. There is no Annex ZA, and there are no harmonised standards under Directive 92/58/EEC at all, because it is a minimum directive rather than a New Approach one. Signs are correctly described as designed to EN ISO 7010, and nobody should be offered a presumption of conformity on that basis.
Where a registered symbol covers the message, that one is used, unchanged. Where none does, ISO 3864-3 sets out how a graphical symbol has to be drawn, and the result follows those design rules without being a registered symbol. The distinction belongs in the specification, so tell us which of the two you need.
It follows from the distance it has to be read at. ISO 3864-1 gives the relationship between viewing distance and sign size, so the practical question is where the reader stands, not which size is standard. Measure the furthest point the sign has to work from and tell us that.
No, and the difference matters when a specification is checked. ISO 16069 covers the safety way guidance system as installed: where the markings sit, how the line stays continuous, how doors, stairs and changes of direction are marked. It is assessed for the system, not for a single product, so a photoluminescent sign is a component of one rather than a system in itself.
They are two different standards, and it is a common mix-up. ISO 3864-1 covers signage in the surroundings. ISO 3864-2 covers the warning label that sits on a product and warns about a risk in using it, with its own panel structure and signal words. Ask for the one that matches where the marking goes.
