About DENFOIL®

Professional marking starts with the environment

DENFOIL® provides signs, labels and marking systems for industrial, maritime and public environments. Each solution is developed for the conditions in which it must perform and supported by clear documentation and local expertise.

Standards we work with
ISO 7010ISO 3864-1ISO 20560-1ISO 16069DIN 67510IMO / SOLAS
The problem

A sign can fail long before it falls off

Marking rarely fails all at once. It fails gradually, in ways that are easy to miss until the moment it is needed.

  • Pictograms faded by UV until the meaning is gone
  • Edges lifting after cleaning cycles or cold application
  • Floor marking worn away by pallet and forklift traffic
  • Surfaces attacked by cleaning agents and chemicals
  • Salt air, moisture and temperature working on the adhesive
  • Escape-route marking unreadable when the power fails
The DENFOIL approach

A more reliable way to specify marking

Application first

Product selection starts with the surface, exposure, installation method and required service life.

Documented performance

Relevant material properties, test data and limitations are stated for each product family.

Standards applied with purpose

ISO, DIN and maritime requirements are applied where relevant to the product and its intended use.

Local knowledge and supply

Experienced distributors provide local product guidance and dependable access to the range.

How we work

From requirement to verified product

Every DENFOIL family goes through the same process. Each step leaves evidence a buyer can check.

  1. Specify the requirement

The environment defines the product, not the other way round: exposure, surface, temperature at application, visibility conditions and the standards that govern the line are fixed before anything is produced, in dialogue with distributors and the professionals who install it.

    Application criteria stated per family

  2. Qualify the construction

Materials are selected and qualified against that requirement: self-adhesive vinyl, rigid plastic or aluminium, with the adhesive rated for the surface and the temperature it is applied at.

Construction stated on every data sheet

  3. Hold the construction to the specification

Pictograms are reproduced standard-true and never redrawn, and each construction stays traceable back to the specification it was made against, so a repeat order is the same product and not a similar one.

    Construction traceable to its specification

  4. Verify before claiming

A figure is stated only with the measurement behind it and the party who made it named: colour coordinates against ISO 3864-1, photoluminescent performance with its test conditions, way guidance against ISO 16069. Where an article has no measurement of its own, that is what we state, rather than borrowing a value from a similar product.

Measured values with their test conditions

  5. Document and feed back

Results are issued as data sheets per product and per market language, and field experience from distributors and installers goes back into the specification for the next revision.

Documentation

How DENFOIL documents performance

  • Properties are stated per product family, never for the portfolio as a whole.
  • Test conditions accompany every stated figure.
  • Standards are named only where they actually apply.
  • Missing data is stated as missing, not replaced by marketing wording.
  • Data sheets are available through your distributor.

Who it is built for

Built for professionals in their respective industries

The people who specify, install and answer for the marking, each with a different question, all needing the same evidence.

HSE advisors

Specify the marking and have to defend the choice.

Marine superintendents

Work against maritime requirements and documentation.

Operations and facility teams

Install the marking and maintain it afterwards.

Sign-makers and installers

Need the construction and the standard stated before they quote.

Distributors

Answer the first technical question in their market.

Local distribution

The practical way forward

DENFOIL is supplied through local distributors. Tell us your market and what the marking needs to withstand, and we will route your request correctly.
